My poor babies need clickies...or they'll die. *cries*
I just got back from New York today. I had a very relaxing visit with
I'll be posting up a review of the rest of the series, including Midnight Sun, later.
Omg. HOUSE!
I don't want to go to do jury duty on Monday.
Did I miss anything? I was 810 back before I got to my last post, but I was skimming hardcore.

( Cut to spare a flist already burdened by economic woes and the holidays, which are stressful even when they're great. I'm sorry for the tone, I'm feeling a bit brittle at the moment and sometimes blunt truth feels better than sugar-coating. )
2) I have spent a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY.
3) I am having fun. :D
4) I have been primarily without internet for the better part of this week and busy with NaNo for the last few days of last week so didn't actually update much. XD Oops?
5) I did not win NaNo. :( But I did write 31.5k in four days, so that was pretty awesome. XD 5k, 5k, 4.5k, 15.5k. Not that my writing is erratic or anything. XD
6) I have to go now because the pub only gives you an hour of free WiFi. :D;
[EDIT]
What is says about you: You are an intelligent person. You appreciate mystery. Those around you admire your fresh outlook and vitality. You may meet people who are afraid of you.

Back in the day, I asked, "Where is my Laura Roslin action figure?" Well, it's here. And it doesn't look like her. (MM is not 25—and that's okay!)
I'm reading this book that's set in a typeface that I can't identify, but is driving me bonkers. The bowls are all different sizes! It's especially noticeable on the double-story lowercase g, but also when d/b/p is compared to o/e/a. WHAT THE HELL.
Put your music player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first song is the title.
Somewhere in the darkness
Welcome to my secret lair on Skullcrusher Mountain
Pathological monsters! cried the terrified mathemetician
We are all traveling in the footsteps of those who came before
There's a tall, thin man standing in the shadows
She moved south as a child
There's a small town in the mountains where the streets are white and still
I like duty
Well I thought I heard the captain say:
And the slightest confrontation
A voice like honey, no one else could fill his shoes.
I would walk a thousand miles just to talk to you for a while.
Ths sun is high today
I've got the sun and the seasons
We start the story when mom met dad
I was eighteen - she was forty-five
I had the carburetor cleaned and checked with her line blown out she's hummin' like a turbo jet
Ask me why I came so late
I thought we'd start the evening off with a glass of cold rose
Only a moment ago we had nothing but time
Palm trees and fun, fabulous sun - Hollywood's always like that

It's been forever since I've posted here at IJ, I'm still hanging out over at LJ. I've been working on this project for about 3 weeks and it was worth every minute. I hopw everyone enjoys it ;D
Title: The Silver Doe
By: Dixiebell
Summery: Photo montage of Deathy Hallows scene
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, or the music. No money is being made
Cosplayer: Droxy
Original Photo credits:Gemimicorp. Shalimar, Mr. Droxy
Dedicated to Droxy
I once complained that I was bored and Droxy came swooping in like the great bat that she pretends to be *G* Thanks to her this bored insomniac housewife has something to do. Now I have hundreds of Snapey photos to keep me busy. If it wasn't for her, I'd still be photo shopping my girls in a Ford Anglia. How she puts up with my DRAMA, I'll never know but I will always be greatful.
Notes:
(1.)I originally set out to make a Christmas card but I got distracted and it sort of snowballed into a major project. I was half way finished with it when I realized I didn't have the pics I needed to complete it. Once again Droxy came to my rescue. She took the time out of her very hectic schedule to dress up as Snape and get Mr. Droxy to take the photos I needed. I owe her chocolate and lots of it.
(2.)This was created using photo manipulation, Cosplay photos of Droxy and PhotoStory
(3.) I don't think this project would have been possibly if it weren't for all the skills I learned helping with the SSHG_exchange projects.

( My favorite color combination is green and purple. )
Also, I see this has made its way around the block a time or two, but damn it's too good not to share. If you haven't seen it yet. Or lately. The Alice's Restaurant Massacre. Heh.
And finally, GIP.
If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, what would you love to see me write? I'm not actually going to write any of these (unless something strikes me), but I am curious.
( A New shiny fall dragon!! )
*battles writer's block with a sharp sword*
I think I'll adopt it.
Now that I'm prepared, I'm off to Costco. Wish me luck.

Not so much about that anymore, but I felt like making dinner, so I did. Found a free-range turkey, due to a combination of effects: waiting til the last minute to buy a turkey means that most of the 27-cents a pound guys are already sold out, and I also like to support farmers who raise animals humanely. (Thank you for your sacrifice, o turkey. And I'm glad you saw the sky before you died.) Cooked a couple of yams, some low-carb stuffing, potatoes (they don't make those low-carb. heh.). Forgot the broccoli until it was too late, but made gravy which will give me low-carb biscuits and gravy for dinner today. Mmm. And made a no-sugar pumpkin pie that turned out good despite being over-cooked and having twice as much splenda as it should have. (I forgot I was halving the recipe. Caught myself after already having added the sweetner. Oops.)
This was all a bit overkill for dinner for me and the boy, but it was nice anyway. And I had the turkey stripped and packaged up in freezer bags before we had pie. Go me!
Other accomplishments yesterday: got my Night Elf Warrior Skatthach to 72 in WoW. And 375 engineering! (You engineers know what an accomplishment that is.) I'm terribly frustrated at not being able to fly in Northrend yet, but I'm loving the exploration. (Note to self: make a Skatthach icon. She's jealous of your worlock)
Other bits of WoW amusement: yay for Star Trek references! My inner fan-girl cackled gleefully over that one. (It's a Horde-only quest, though.) Also, someone needs to make me stop. I made another Death Knight. *weeps* Alt-a-holism is not pretty.
Tomorrow will be Thanksgiving with the folks, but without my brother, which deserves its own separate post. Which I will do when I'm done throwing things and screaming with rage. Stupid technology that fails, and stupid, stupid social support systems that fail to support people who need help. I think it's time to Get Jesse
Trina placed an ice pop on my DO NOT TOUCH manga table and destroyed my copy of Love Is Like A Hurricane V1. Actually, she put her ice pop down, forgot it was there, let it melt, realised it, and covered it with a towel to avoid getting in trouble.
So, instead of having to clean up a mess, she gets grounded for lying (sneaking and trying to cover up a mistake).
I was already cranky, so I decided (as did my other family members) that Leila should go out of the house. The movie theatre was the only place open, thus I went and saw Twilight.
My Review:
( Leila's in depth and thorough review of Twilight the Movie )
I'm grateful that I have work, a roof over my head, food and a refrigerator to keep it in, clean water, and a working vehicle.
I'm grateful that in just under 54 days (but who's counting?) George W. Bush and Dick Cheney will leave office. I wish they'd leave the planet, but we can't have everything.
I'm grateful for my computer, Snarry, Spooks, Dexter, The Daily Show and thepiratebay.org
I'm grateful for my friends, both the ones I've met and the ones I haven't. That means I'm grateful for YOU

I have to admit that I find some reviews of my Zukafuji trilogy (Transformation Series, I call it) completely hilarious. I've started comm posting it...and have just posted the second part...since the third part has been posted already, just not there, some comments are completely ironic. In such an amusing way. *giggles*
Though, I'm a bit frustrated with writing at the moment. I'm really exhausted and writing fest fics have been a struggle. I never expected to be sick this long. So, I signed up for most of these not knowing I'd either being tired from vomiting or tired from the meds to prevent the vomiting. All I've managed lately were the crappy little Wild Adapter ficlets that I've posted during
*frustrated fists of glory* I will survive. I will get things done and on time. I'm just...I dunno.
*runs out of steam*
I'll probably not post

I likes it lots. Check 'em out. (Yes, I agree, the heaving buttocks are a bit distracting. But if you like guitar-driven rock, you will like their music.)
